Hi Guys, As you all know that FSSAI registration is mandatory for home bakers and chef. I have received multiple queries about the same and in this blog.

I am going to write about the steps to apply for your FSSAI registration. Here you go!

FSSAI stands for Food Safety and Standards Authority of India

Basically, All businesses that have anything to do with need to get a license from FSSAI in order to operate. However, a business whose turnover is below 12 lakhs annually or if their production capacity is below 100kgs per day, need not get an FSSAI License, but rather can get by with just an FSSAI Registration.

Steps to get the license:

STEP 1:
You need to keep the following documents handy:

• Personal/ Business e-mail I’d
• Soft copy of your photo
• Soft copy of your aadhar and pan

STEP 2:
Go to FOSCOS.fssai.gov.in and sign up. If you’ve already created your account on foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in, you don’t need to create a new account

For new account, you will be filling the following details:

-Name

-Number

-E-mail id

– Other basic details

-Mention login id as per availability. I kept bakedbymehak

-Enter captcha and sign up

-You will receive an OTP to verify. Do that

STEP 3:
Now, login at foscos.fssai.gov.in/public

STEP 4:

After login, select your state

Go to food services.

If you’re a home chef/baker, go to food vending establishment

Select turnover and proceed

Click to apply for registration

Fill details of your business

Select the number of years for which you need to apply

Select 07/16 (bakery products if you’re a home baker. Check other codes and add, if relevant)

Add the date on which you’re filling the form

Proceed

Upload photo and I’d

Make online payment -100rs via Razorpay

Get your receipt

STEP 5:

• Go to your dashboard and check.
• It takes 10-30 days for your FSSAI registration to come
