OUR JOURNEY

Our founder, Chef Mehak has always been fond of being excited by the fragrance of freshly baked goodies in bakeries. As she grew older, that excitement was fulfilled by cooking and baking videos on the internet. It wasn’t before long that she was trying her hand at it, but she always imagined it as a hobby. She completed my graduation, followed by a double masters in marketing. This led to 6 years in advertising, during which this passion ended up getting pushed into the background. But it remained, calling her out, and she knew she had to get back to it sooner or later.

She got married and a year after, ended up taking a 2-month sabbatical for a professional pastry chef course. She created an Instagram page to post her recipes and trials. But the course had opened up a whole new world of possibilities for her and now, she wanted to spread the joy of baking to others. She found a place to start taking classes during weekends, while she slogged during weekdays at her workplace. The baking kept her sane through all the pressure and she knew that she was on to something big.
